Our bedrooms are all single, non-smoking, en-suite rooms, each with their own shower. All rooms have been graded by Visit Wales as 3* – 4* Campus Accommodation, a category developed for those Universities and Colleges that can accommodate visitors.

Rooms are located on the Ffriddoedd site, which is the University’s main student residential campus. The layout is such that there are eight individual bedrooms in a secure ‘flat’. Each room has use of the flat’s exclusive kitchen/dining area, equipped with a fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle. No crockery, cutlery or kitchen utensils are provided, you are welcome to bring your own. Having use of this unique communal, social space is ideal for group bookings.

Check-In / Check Out

Please note: Reception is in the Idwal Building, signposted Halls Office

Arrival is from 2:00pm–8 pm, Monday–Sunday.

Please collect your room key from the Halls Office after 2pm on your arrival day (No. 15 on map). Idwal Building, Bangor LL57 2GP

Late Arrivals (after 8 pm)

The Halls office closes at 8pm. If arriving later please inform Conferencing on 01248 38 8088 or conferences@bangor.ac.uk before 5pm on your day of arrival.

Departure – 9:30a.m.

Your keys must be returned to the Idwal Building by 9:30 am (or posted in the express check out located to the left of the doors) on the day of your departure. There is a £20.00 non- refundable charge for lost keys.

Trouble Booking Your Room

If you experience difficulties using the online booking system or need to book more than 8 rooms or stay 8+ nights please email aros@bangor.ac.uk or call a member of the Conference Team on +44 (0) 1248 388088 (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm).

Specific Events / Promotion Codes

If attending as part of a group, conference or particular event please enter the promotion code supplied by the Lead Booker. This will allow you to book a room, specifically allocated for your event at the agreed rate.
